As China becomes one of the world’s largest
economies, the domestic demand of high quality biopharmaceutical
products has dramatically grown in recently years. Ten years ago,
only a few thousands flu shots were used, but in Year 2005, about 20
million flue shots were administrated. We expect this trend to
continue for many years in the near future. China has the world’s
largest population of 1.4 billion and already ranks No. 4 in the
world vaccine market (after US, Germany, and Japan), and there is no
doubt that it will be the world’s largest market for
biopharmaceutical products.
In the past few years, China has established many
successful small local biopharmaceutical companies. It creates a
great opportunity for the company to consolidate and become the
industry leader.
